Recently, the USA Yoband Prosthetics and Orthotics Group’s 2024 Technical Manager Meeting was successfully held at the Yoband Shantou branch in Guangdong province. The purpose of this meeting was to strengthen technical exchanges, implement the company’s meeting spirit of “Speak without reservation, No fault in speaking, Collective brainstorming and efforts, and Knock down the two walls,” and promote the continuous innovation and development of prosthetic technology within the group.
 
Technical managers from various branches gathered at the Shantou branch to participate in the meeting. The meeting was officially opened under the direct supervision of Mr. Wang Hongyu, CEO and Executive Director of Yoband Group, ensuring that every link of the meeting proceeded smoothly.
 
At the beginning of the meeting, the technical managers first took an exam on company regulations and relevant prosthetics knowledge. This was not only a test of their professional knowledge but also an evaluation of their understanding of the company’s regulations, ensuring that each technical manager adheres to the company’s rules in their work and enhances work efficiency.
 
Next, the technical managers took turns delivering technical presentations on technological innovations and successful cases of challenging residual limb fittings in 2024. Drawing from their own practical experiences, they shared valuable insights and unique perspectives, earning enthusiastic applause from their colleagues. After intense competition and voting, three outstanding recipients of the Technical Innovation Award were selected: Yi Fuqiang, Technical Manager from the Nanjing branch; Xia Yugang, Technical Manager from the Xi'an branch; and Liu Tuqian, Technical Manager from the Shantou branch. Their innovative achievements have injected new vitality into the group’s technological progress and the development of the prosthetics industry.

 
An important new addition to the meeting agenda was the inclusion of the Yoband Prosthetics Technology Level Examination. This evaluation aimed to promote technical exchange and learning while reinforcing the technical managers' professional understanding and practical ability in prosthetics technology. After multiple assessments, Xie Zhaolong, Technical Manager from the Taiyuan branch, was recognized for his outstanding performance and awarded the Yoband Prosthetics Skill Level 4 certification.
  
 
The Yoband Technical Expert election is one of the key highlights of the annual Technical Manager Meeting. Only technical managers with 10 or more years of experience and who have passed the theoretical exam are eligible to participate. The election content covered the fabrication of AK prostheses, BK prostheses, BE prostheses, and hip disarticulation prostheses, which comprehensively assessed the technical managers' professional skills and innovative abilities. The election was conducted through a lottery system to ensure fairness and impartiality. The technical managers drew lots to determine which type of prosthesis they would fabricate, and then completed the task within a limited time frame. After a rigorous evaluation, the following technical managers were successfully elected as Yoband Technical Experts: Xia Yugang, Technical Manager from the Xi'an branch; Lin Gang, Technical Manager from the Shanghai headquarters; Liu Zhongping, Technical Manager from the Nanchang branch; Xu Jianjun, Technical Manager from the Zhanjiang branch; and Pang Yumin, Technical Manager from the Jinan branch. Mr. Wang Hongyu personally awarded them honorary certificates, offering high praise for their dedication and outstanding achievements.

 
Strengthening team collaboration, driving technological innovation, and continuously improving the quality of prosthetic products and services to bring hope to more people with disabilities is Yoband's unwavering pursuit. The successful convening of this Technical Manager Meeting not only enhanced technical communication and cooperation among the various branches but also laid a solid foundation for the company’s long-term development.
