Nowadays, with the development of medical level and technology, prostheses for disabled people have become increasingly advanced. But even so, it is hard for users do some slightly complicated motion with prostheses. Such as staircase, prosthesis wearers must re-assign their own limbs to climb stairs even only a few stairs.
 

Recently, the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago developed a new bionic leg; you can freely climb stairs and squat etc without any extra energy. There is a control system in this prosthetic leg which can tell you what to do and control limbs automatically. By this way, prosthetic wearers can put all the energy into walking, instead of observing changes of the terrain with traditional prostheses.

Recently, this bionic leg product is small-scale tested under the support of the US military. It is not a good time for sale, but this product will be officially put into operation. It can help more disable people who were stumped.
